What To Expect at BBC
Sunday Morning Worship Service - 10:00 AM
If you are planning to visit us on a Sunday morning, we hope the following information will make your visit with us an enjoyable one!
What to Wear
Brandywine Bible Church does not have a dress code, besides requesting appropriately modest clothing. Members and visitors who attend our Sunday morning service wear everything from very relaxed, casual dress to business casual or dresses. Come just as you are! We are honored to have you as our guest.
Our Worship Service
Our Sunday morning worship service offers contemporary music, intermingled with hymns, and is led by our worship team. We have a children’s ministry for nursery through elementary age (infants through 5th grade) during our service, as well as a Middle School (6-8 grade) and Senior High (9-12 grade) ministry before our service, starting at 8:45am. Pastor Mike teaches through books of the Bible verse by verse, with relevant topical studies from time to time, applying the Word to our lives today and reminding us how relevant God’s Word is for today’s society, struggles and needs.
Communion Services
Rather than simply adding communion into our regular service, we plan these special monthly services to ready people's hearts to take communion. The music is more worshipful and we incorporate testimonies, public sharing of prayer and praises, creeds and silent times of confession. It's an experience that settles your spirit and allows you the time and peacefulness needed to really commune with the Lord. Immediately after our communion service, we often have a church-wide pot luck lunch... feel free to stay, eat and fellowship! It's a great time to get to know the people you were just worshipping with.
When You Arrive
Parking is available behind our building (in front of the long red barn) and also immediately behind the F.A.M.I.L.I.E.S. business property. We also have parking spaces for physically disabled attenders and visitors right next to our main doors. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed by knowledgable people who are ready to help you and your family get acquainted with our facility and assist you with anything you might need. Please feel free to fill out the blue visitor card in your bulletin and place it in the offering plate as it is passed during the service. Your personal information is kept confidential (we do not sell or distribute the personal information of our visitors or church members). The church may, however, use that information to express our thanks for your visit! Please stop by the information table (located next to the main doors) on your way home to pick up a gift bag with relevant information regarding our ministries.
If you have any questions while you are planning your first visit, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or drop us an e-mail. We would be glad to help answer any questions you may have prior to your visit!
